( 000 ) homework grading post!

Please post how your student did on this homework here, please! Current homework is due by October 2nd!

Basically, all I need is your house, year, and how you think they did. He'll grade from there!

THIRD YEAR STUDENTS Please write a minimum one and half foot essay on the Mooncalf! Extra credit if you can draw one of the patterns the Mooncalves make when mating in Muggle wheat fields!

FOURTH YEAR STUDENTS Please write a minimum one and a half foot essay on the Chizpurfle! Extra credit if the essay hits two feet!

FIFTH YEAR STUDENTS Please write a minimum two foot essay on the Dugbog! Extra credit if you can explain the Dugbog's primary food source, and why this poses a problem to some wizard gardens!

SIXTH YEAR STUDENTS Please write a minimum two foot essay on the different types of trolls, where to find them, and each of their respective habitats! Extra credit if the essay hits two and half feet!

SEVENTH YEAR STUDENTS Please write a minimum two foot essay on Manticores! Please explain why they are dangerous, what spells cannot effect them and why, and their habitat. Extra credit if the essay hits three feet!

All of this is due by October 2nd, so be sure to get working on it and hand these in as soon as you can! Once the essays are done, we are going to observe most of these creatures in person! Please keep what you learn in mind so we can properly handle them in class.

Peter Kirkland: Gryffindor, 3rd year, ROCKS IT. He gives you not one, not two, but THREE patterns.

Hayato Gokudera, Gryffindor Fifth Year: Wrote more than expected on the Dugbog essay, and included the creature's primary food source in exceptional detail.

Taiga Aisaka, Gryffindor 6th: She doesn't write enough to get the extra credit, but she makes the required length and it pretty competent. She doesn't really care about trolls, though, and it reads pretty much like a textbook because she isn't really interested. All of her facts are in order, and organized, though.

Lili Rochefort, Slytherin 7th: Dangerous ANYTHING is her area of expertise, so she easily makes the extra credit requirement of 3 feet. She actually goes a little overboard on explaining why they are dangerous and how to combat them, so the section on their habitat is a little skimpy, as Lili figures he's not going to want to read her essay all day long.

Banchenko, Yekaterina Kyivna; Hufflepuff, 7th year: Oh, the dangerous animals are not her forte, and she doesn't quite make it to the extra-credit length. She goes into great detail as to why Manticores are dangerous, and why they're impervious to spells, but she winds up letting too much of her own "voice" into it and sounds more like a warning against going anywhere near them than an especially academic essay.

Kanji Tatsumi: Hufflepuff, Fifth year. (handed in about Oct 1) Kanji obviously tried pretty hard on it, but only got it to a foot and a half with extra big spaces. It's pretty rough, scattered, but does explain the important parts about Dugbogs, just not in terrible detail.

Matthew Kirkland, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff: Matthew's essay barely makes the two foot requirement and is covered in smudges(as if he's slept on it), but his essay is sufficient enough to cover all bases. It's -- it's incredibly average.

[identity profile] mist-illusions.livejournal.com 2010-09-27 12:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Mukuro Rokudo, Slytherin, Fifth Year: He completes the essay, but it's not really anything amazing. It's precisely two feet, no more or less, and well-structured - basically he did exactly the requirements and nothing more.

Utena Tenjou, 4th Gryffindor: She writes about the Dugbogs, and does fairly well. It all seems pretty academic, and there are some pictures at the bottom where she's doodled and forgotten. She tried her hardest, though, and it shows in the writing.

Molly Hayes
Gryffindor
Year 3

Molly does very well considering she likes this class, which is a feat in itself. She writes a little more than needed draws two patterns.

Kio Kaidou, 6th year Hufflepuff.

He got a little carried away, adding some drawings of the trolls, but he made sure to turn in a whole 3 feet to make up for the space they take up. He knows his information well enough, he just keeps getting distracted with art.

Takashi "Mori" Morinozuka, Hufflepuff, 7th Year: Believe it or not, this is Mori's favorite class. Ever. He writes a concise, well-written essay that is the required two-feet and little more. (He does write a bit impassively, however, so it's not easy to tell that he kind of likes it.)

Janssens, Emmeline; Hufflepuff, 5th year: Handed in just before being counted as late, the essay is just under two and a half feet and includes attentively-detailed descriptions of the unfortunate results of Dugbog infestations.

LOVINO VARGAS; HUFFLEPUFF 6TH YEAR: Lovino does his very best, describing the different types of trolls the best he can with somewhat decent information on their habitats. He tries to get it to two and a half feet, though it probably wouldn't count since his handwriting suddenly gets bigger and there are quite a few giant ink splotches on the parchment...
