I'm so glad everyone enjoyed the little taste of La Tomatina that I threw!! Everyone seemed to have a lot of fun, and I'm glad people got to enjoy it! Sorry if you got hit with a tomato and didn't want to... I'm so used to everyone being used to the festival back home!

Oh, I got so wrapped up in the excitement of starting classes again and La Tomatina - which, again, I'm so glad people had fun with!! - that I forgot to mention on here that I'm the new head of Gryffindor House! I'm so happy to have the opportunity to help you kids out, you know. I still have fond memories of being in Gryffindor myself, so I can't wait to be here for you all if you have any questions or concerns and need a boss you can look up to. In fact, that's what you all can call me - Boss! But, don't think I won't be there to punish you, okay!! No acting out, we need to get all the points we can to win the House Cup this year!!! We can do it guys, don't you worry!

Also, please be careful with the creatures this year - especially all you third year students who are new to my class. Really, I don't want any more burns or bites, okay? You should really listen when I tell you it's not safe, okay...

Since I can't be back in my hometown - Buñol!!! - for the festival, I thought I'd bring it here to the school!!! Headmaster Dumbledore has agreed to let me throw my own little La Tomatina here at Hogwarts!!

I'm going to be hosting it in the biggest courtyard here in the castle, so everyone should come down and join in the party!! I've gotten the kitchens to make tons of paella and other foods, and I brought a little wine back (for us teachers, not for you kids, okay?) - so we'll have a proper Spanish festival! Well, not exactly proper, but I can't exactly bring Buñol to Hogwarts, but... this will be close!!

Oh, just be sure to wear something messy okay - I'll make sure everyone's clean before they leave, but don't wear your nice robes...

(( OOC: SO, pretend this was posted earlier in the day, I was on a plane, okay.

ALSO for all your lovely La Tomantina questions: check here and here! Basically: giant tomato fight. IT'S FUN.

Also LOG IS HERE.))

I can't believe that my first year as a teacher is already over!! I know I started a little late, but that was very exciting to do. I can't wait for next year and getting everything together for a new batch of students!

But, I'm really glad I'm back in Spain for the time being!! Things in England do not sound very good at all... I wonder why my family seems all nervous all of a sudden.

Well, this is quite strange - I swear I took my clothing back with me when I visited home!! Maybe I grabbed Papá's clothing by mistake? I don't remember doing that though...

At least I'm still in my correct classroom!! It would have been bad if I didn't at least have my books and things, since then it'd be hard to teach all of you!

Now, even with all the confusion going on, I expect you to be on your best behaviour! Just for me, okay! ♥

(( OOC: No separate account for me rofl - I'VE GOT THE ICONS HANDY. OH and FYI: her name is Isabella, but she's still Professor Fernández to you lot. '^' ))

I'm glad our pants came back!! It's still a bit breezy in the castle, I didn't quite like how cold it made my legs. But really, that was really very silly, you know! Although, it was somewhat amusing to see everyone in their underwear.

Oh I'm sorry if I scared any of you when I came to class in my boxers, it was the best I could do! I didn't mean to make any of you shriek, I swear!! And my robe kept opening up, sorry about that.

Goodness, I've been so busy with this whole being a teacher thing, I've almost completely forgotten about this journal of mine!!! That and I think I lost it or misplaced it or something, but I found it in my bag here at home so that's okay, right??

Oh, I'm glad to be back home for Easter though - I think I would've been sad if I had missed out on Mamá's delicious feast for today! That and it's warm here, I am so sick of how cold and nasty Inglaterra is Lent seemed so long this year, I was very excited for her cooking.

I hope all the students are behaving themselves at home and having a good Easter!!!

Both Papá and Mamá had a wonderful time here!! Neither attended Hogwarts so they were very interested to see how I was holding up here as a teacher and what it was like! Thank you to everyone who was nice to them, they were glad to see that there are so many nice English people here!!!

It was also nice to celebrate Día de los Reyes with them even if it was a day late and all that - sometimes you have to make exceptions!! -Oh, Emmelita - thank you very very much for the scarf!! It's very warm and it's lovely in this horrible horrible weather here. ♥

Oh, and I'm sorry if I gave any of you a start in class last week! I've been running late and losing track of time, so it's much easier to get to class as a bull!! Sometimes I forget that I'm still in that form though, so sorry if I frightened you - I won't charge at you, promise!!!

These are the grades from this homework post! Pretend I did these ages ago, my complete bad alksdfjasdf. I decided to include both Molly and Utena, even though they've since dropped. I figured they would've gotten the grade before that, and should include it. If not, I'll take them off, no biggie. ♥

CARE OF MAGICAL CREATURES HOMEWORK

For all years, I want you to do a research paper on a magical creature of your choice! It can be from any country or place! I'd like to see you put your voice into each paper, and let me know the basics about each creature - their usual habitat, what special properties they might have, their Ministry of Magic classification, and other things you'd need to know about the creature! (Be sure to mention if they're a beast, spirt, or being too!!)

You're going to present the findings of your research in class, so make sure you can keep your classmates entertained and interested while you describe it! I'll give you grades based on how you present it in class, and how through your research is!!

Also be sure to hand in your papers!!! You won't get a full grade without them!

These will be due by October 30th, so you should have plenty of time to get this in to me!! I expect a lot of good stuff from you guys, and let me know if you need any help with your researching~! Your professor is here to help!!

(( OOC: Please hand in your homework over here! You can just simply say how you think your characters did and he'll hand out points and grades accordingly. Also, if they haven't signed up for Care of Magical Creatures and would like to, feel free! Sign up is right here. ♥))

This way no one in my class will have to worry about homework over Halloween!!!

Halloween is coming up though, huh! We don't really celebrate it with so much enthusiasm!! back home, so it's always interesting to see all the festivities here in England! Mamá will probably put flowers on all the graves back home again, she's so traditional sometimes it's sweet! I wonder if she will go to mass too, it's been a while since I've been able to go.....
